Our sand molding capabilities comprise of a Robert Sinto fully automated molding machine capable of supplying medium to high volume production requirements, castings ranging in size from ounces to 60 lbs. The latest in sand molding technology gives customers the benefit of predictable and shorter lead times, low cost of inventory with consistent quality and exceptional finish of castings. Competitively priced castings are helping our customers to win in their respective markets.

Additional sand molding is supported by Jolt-Squeeze for low quantity prototyping, BMM RollOver and Cope&Drag Floor and Machine Molding . The processes provide the capability to supply Aluminum castings up to 5000lbs with flask sizes up to 110”x110”.

Environmentally friendly, non-silica formulated molding sand is delivered by a continuous loop system. Properties of the sand are monitored by Simpson fully automatic control system. If sand cores are required to make the casting they are made in either the Shell or Chemically Bonded Sand process to satisfy requirements for high tolerances and microfinish when needed.

We produce castings from any requested alloy offering in-house stock of 10 most common materials. Molten metal pouring capacity is approx. 20000 lbs per shift using nine electric resistance furnaces ranging is size from 800 to 1500lbs. Each furnace is fully accessible to an overhead gantry system providing Rotary Degassing to the melt as well as metal transfer pumping when required.
